The Forest is the ideal scenario in which human beings confront horror, the place that conceals ravenous animals and mysterious presences. Like the desert it is a dimension in which it is easier to get lost, a living labyrinth. The perspective from which this dimension of the unknown is told finds inspiration in three films. If in "The Blair Witch Project" (2000, E.Sànchez-D.Myrick), the forest has a presence able to trap the unfortunates who venture into the woods, brandishing them with voodoo fetishes and attracting them to themselves as the spider in the center in the canvas, in "All Girls Weekend" (2016, L.Simon) this entity is the same forest that makes a pact with humans, leaving one alive so that you return with other victims. Also "The Yellow Brick Road" (2010, A.Mitton - J. Holland) shows the force of attraction of a malignant nature that attracts human beings to destroy them. Every human system of comprehension of the world falters and breaks in comparison to the natural laws and the voice of the wood, the rustling of the fronds to the passage of the wind, is a music that attracts and crashes the beings made of flesh and blood. In this world we are born not to be masters. But manure.
